A little over a week after the Geocortex Users Conference, a new version of Geocortex Essentials and HTML 5 viewer was released. It was a minor but useful release. One of the highlights of this release was the new way that search results are handled in the viewer. In previous versions, the user had to go to the bottom of the table and click through a number of reords at a time. It was a bit cumbersome to say the least. Now you can search your layers and get thousands of the results (depending on you data) instantly. In addition, each record set can be dismissed or acted upon via it’s own “hamburger menu” and record options that you can perform on the table or record of choice. I was very excited about this because a number of users have been asking for this for a while now.
